Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire Distance: 120 km (2 hrs)
Pick up in Arusha, take lunch boxes, game drive en route for Tarangire National Park. This is the best place in Tanzania to see big herds of elephants. Your accommodation for tonight is at Tarangire Sopa Lodge/Tarangire Safari Lodge (FB).

Day 2: Tarangire – Arusha: 120 km (2 hrs)
Early morning game-viewing in Tarangire National Park. Optional hot lunch at the lodge, or take picnic boxes and enjoy them at a picnic site. Return to Arusha at dusk.
