Unless you’re an old hand at driving in Africa we suggest you hire one of our cars with a driver, who will be of invaluable assistance to you in locating your destinations or in the event of a puncture or mechanical issues. If you’re experienced in driving in Tanzania or other parts of Africa where rough road conditions are similar, we have a selection of road-worthy safari outfitted vehicles available for hire. You’ll need to be aware of our Self Drive Contract Terms & Conditions and will also be required to sign Self Drive Liability Waiver if you wish to rent a car from Fortes.
